Tiny Tots In Need
For many parents and families, the birth of a child creates
financial and economic stress. They may not have the adequate funds to purchase essential and necessary items—diapers, baby
wipes, bottles, bibs, clothing, blankets, lotions and powders, etc.—to properly care for
and nurture their child.
Bear Hugs For Babies meets this community need for many newborns each year! Parents or guardians receive a large gift basket filled with essential and necessary items. Assistance has been provided to families or guardians of infants at Beebe Medical Center, Georgetown Crises Center, Delaware Adolescent Program, Georgetown Wellness Center and Sussex County Counseling Center, in addition to other hospitals, local organizations and churches.
Donations from the public, corporate appeals, baby shower parties, variety shows and local fundraisers provide funds to purchase necessary items and supplies for the newborn infants in need.
Bear Hugs For Babies, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) Non-profit tax exempt organization. All donations are tax deducible.
